Since the latter half of the 19th Century, Levi’s have been at the forefront of denim. Here’s a look at the Autumn/Winter 2007 Collection created largely in part for the Japanese market. The three models include the 569, 703 and 709. For each model, there is either rigid or washed choices to chose from. Each model possess a loose fitting straight cut. In the past, Atmos has used the 703 in special collaborative models. Prices range from 8,925 Yen – 12,075 Yen (approximately $77 USD – $104 USD). Available now at Atmos.
To commemorate the 5th Anniversary of XLarge’s Sapporo branch, Alpha Industries were called in to produce a series of limited special order M-65 style military jackets. 3 exclusive colorways were created featuring extensive XLarge imagery on the front and back. The jackets are available in olive, black and khaki. Currently available only at XLarge Sapporo at a price of 18,690 Yen (approximately $161 USD).

Puma is the latest big athletic brand to enter the skate market with this preview of a Puma Skate Clyde designed for skater Scott Bourne. Details are currently unknown aside from the renderings. From a design perspective, the only physical difference is the inclusion of a thicker padded tongue and some obvious design details seen on the heel. Some may wonder if the cushioning will be upgraded for the rigors of skating. The shoes will come packaged with 3 sets of laces, each with metal tips. An estimated release period isn’t until Fall/Winter 2008.

Silly Thing member TK has just offered a preview of an upcoming Patch shirt design from the Hong Kong label. Although the patch design has been conceptualized in the past by various brands, this button-up is Silly Thing’s own take on the design. Lifestyle shoe makers Etnies Plus has maintained their trademark of simple aesthetic and attention to detail into the latest Fall collection. With a look at the recently announced Write-Left x Etnies Plus, these other shoes complete a strong season for Etnies Plus. Seen here are the Issac, the Junior and the Pablo. All three are highlighted by pig suede linings and memory foam cushioning. Available this Saturday at Livestock.
Director of Japanese brand Whiz, Hiroaki Shitano has taken the creative reins of American outerwear company Marmot for this upcoming Fall/Winter season. Marmot was officially created in 1974 and was among the first outdoor companies to utilize Gore-Tex. The Unionhood, Twig and Fifth jacket are all representations of functionality meeting the visually pleasing designs of Whiz.

The latest sunglass style from Sabre Vision has just arrived at their Mesa, California Headquarters. Sabre describes The Hooligan as “slow, low and mean.” These bad boys will be available soon, in both polarized and non-polarized models, at the Karmaloop Kazbah and other Sabre accounts worldwide.

Porter has recently begun shipping it’s new Cire series. Cire translated from French is otherwise known as wax. As you can tell by the pictures, the Cire Collection possess’ a shiny gloss to the material. The bags are coated with urethane to achieve the waxy look. Seen here are the waist bag and the pouch. The San Francisco sneaker/skate shop Huf are in the works to release an upcoming Black Satin New Era 59Fifty Cap. Huf is arguably one of the strongest in-house brands for creating New Eras caps. No word yet on a release date, but stay tuned for more details as this cap is still in it’s sample stages.
