Emily Adams Bode’s use of antique textiles to create one-of-a-kind, sustainable garments has caught the attention of multiple distinguished organizations over the past couple of years. In 2018, her namesake luxury menswear label Bode was put on the map after being named CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund runner-up. This year, the brand won CFDA’s Emerging Designer of the Year award and was named as a finalist in the prestigious LVMH prize, which have both helped solidify the Bode name as a rising star amongst the growing menswear scene. Bode is also paving the way for women within the menswear space as the first-ever female designer to show at New York Fashion Week Men’s.
