Achievement

Christelle Kocher has had a banner year. The French designer and founder of the couture-meets-streetwear label KOCHÉ won the 2019 ANDAM prize, netting her a yearlong mentorship with Renzo Rosso and $280,000 USD in funding. That’s on top of a collaboration with Nike for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, in which she reimagined the classic soccer kit. Kocher has found critical acclaim ever since she founded her label in 2014; she was shortlisted for LVMH prize the following year and named one of WWD’s “10 For Tomorrow” in 2016. Though always beloved by the industry, KOCHÉ has gained new recognition in 2019 thanks to stellar runway shows and Kocher’s partnership with Nike.
