To this day Chris Gibbs is recognized as the original champion of streetwear. The veteran has been in the game since the early ‘90s, initially working at the original Union in New York to now owning Union Los Angeles. Gibbs continues to push the culture forward by introducing brands that are highly coveted, obscure or local via the store’s curated selection. Aside from being an esteemed hypebeast, Gibbs also heads Union’s collaborative releases, which in 2017 saw a couple drops in Vans and No.One, a remix of Champion hoodies, and its "Know The Ledge" collection. Gibbs also hosted a panel alongside Karizza Sanchez and A$AP Ferg at ComplexCon 2017.
