Having taken over the Korean market at a young age, G-Dragon’s global dominance continues on its meteoric rise. As the frontman of the ever-popular K-pop group Big Bang, G-Dragon took a step away from his band mates this year to go on a solo tour for the first time in four years. The hip-hop artist saw a big year with the release of his second self-titled EP Kwon Ji Yong, which topped the iTunes charts in 46 countries including the U.S. In 2017, G-Dragon also became a brand ambassador for French fashion house Chanel and fronted the label’s Gabrielle bag campaign alongside industry legend Pharrell.
