Travis Scott rode into 2017 on the .WAV (radio) of his wildly-successful sophomore album, 'Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.' His year began in full album-promotion-mode, as the young Houston artist was seen gracing the stages of various festivals and late night talk shows around the world, in addition to a number of magazine cover stories. His music outage for the year never subsided, as Travis toured most of the summer, headlining his own concert series as well as opening for Kendrick Lamar’s 'DAMN.' tour. He also launched Cactus Jack Records, which later signed Smokepurpp, reached platinum status for both 'BITTSM' and 'Rodeo,' and hit triple-platinum for his single “Antidote.” Fashion-wise, the 25-year-old dropped collaborative collections alongside Helmut Lang and Ksubi, designed a special-edition T-shirt for the Houston Rockets’ playoff run, and solidified his Nike partnership with a Jordan Trunner exclusive. Trav’s biggest moment of 2017 however did not occur within music or fashion, but at home, as news broke in September that him and girlfriend Kylie Jenner are expecting a child.
