As the frontman of the ever-popular K-pop boy band Big Bang, G-Dragon’s catapult into fame doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. Known for his quirky and experimental style on-and-off the stage, G-Dragon has made himself a front-row fixture and can be seen gracing fashion’s top shows such as Chanel. The hip-hop artist saw a big year in 2016 being named as one of Forbes Asia’s Most Influential Person Under 30 in Eastern’s Entertainment and Sports as well as starting his personal fashion brand PEACEMINUSONE with stylist Gee Eun. Ranging from fashion products to collaborations in diverse creative streams, his new project serves as an authentic extension of himself. The year also saw G-Dragon collaborating with the likes of Juun.J for an ad campaign and with Baauer and M.I.A. on the Chinese zheng, 808s-influenced track “Temple.” Also spending most of 2016 touring with Big Bang, it seems G-Dragon’s star will continue on its meteoric rise.
