Closing out a spectacular Sunday with a 1-under final round, the Northern Irishman captured his sixth major championship and cemented a back-to-back run not seen since Tiger Woods accomplished the feat in 2002. Rory McIlroy navigated a roller-coaster weekend, surrendering a massive early lead before turning the tide during the final stretch. Despite an early double-bogey on the fourth hole that briefly derailed his momentum, he seized control at Amen Corner by carding crucial birdies on the 12th and 13th holes to build a late cushion.Scottie Scheffler applied immense pressure throughout the afternoon, finishing in solo second at 11-under after delivering a 4-under 68 in the fourth round. Completing an exceptionally clean push to the finish line, the world No. 1 forced McIlroy to earn every inch of the historic victory. Further down the leaderboard, a chaotic battle for third place unfolded. Justin Rose, who held a two-shot lead at the turn, faltered with bogeys on the 11th and 12th holes, dropping to a final score of 10-under after shooting a 2-under 70 for the day.Joining Rose in the four-way tie for third were Cameron Young, Russell Henley, and Tyrrell Hatton. Hatton engineered an aggressive late charge, shooting a stunning 6-under in the final round to vault up the standings. Meanwhile, Young carded a 1-over on Sunday, unable to maintain his earlier blistering pace, while Henley secured his position with a steady 4-under finish. Rounding out the top ten, Collin Morikawa and Sam Burns tied for seventh at 9-under. Max Homa and Xander Schauffele split ninth place at 8-under, fueled by Homa firing an impressive 5-under closing round.
The Crossover: Where Golf Shows Up Beyond the Fairway

What was once a sport defined by tradition is now increasingly shaped by adjacent worlds. Basketball doesn’t stay on the court, football doesn’t stay on the pitch and hospitality isn’t just service. Golf, for the first time in a long time, is letting all of that in.The shift isn’t about making golf cool. It’s about recognizing that the people shaping culture are already touching the game, just not always through traditional entry points.Jordan Brand partnering with LA golf community SwangJordan linking with Swang isn’t about just entering golf, it’s about choosing where it shows up. Swang sits closer to street culture than traditional golf, built through informal meetups, music and a rejection of the sport’s usual codes. This is about Jordan extending a legitimate “we see you” to the people already reshaping the game. The real shift is that golf’s momentum is coming from smaller, culturally grounded communities.New York Knicks renew collaboration with MalbonThe Knicks x Malbon collab is the clearest sign yet that golf is being swallowed by “lifestyle.” When you can wear a Knicks-branded hoodie or varsity jacket at the muni and then straight to a game at the Garden, the sport stops feeling isolated. It becomes just another layer of how you dress. You don’t need to know how to hit a draw to buy in, the appeal is in the vibe and there's no handicap requirement.Rao’s announces summer residency at Marine & Lawn’s St Andrews hotel View this post on Instagram A post shared by Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts (@marineandlawn)Putting Rao’s at Rusacks St Andrews is unexpected, but it says a lot about where golf is headed. Pairing something as rooted as St Andrews with a place like Rao’s shifts “prestige” from history to something more lived-in and urban. The trip isn’t only about playing 18 in the wind, it’s about everything surrounding it. The food, the crowd, the energy after the round. Golf’s still the reason you go, but it’s no longer the only part of the itinerary.adidas Golf drops golf range with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Aston Villa View this post on Instagram A post shared by Aston Villa (@avfcofficial)adidas dropping Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Aston Villa onto the fairway feels inevitable. When you see those club colors on a golf polo, the game suddenly stops looking like a private club and starts looking like a jersey you already own. Even if you don't play golf in it, you’ll wear it and that’s enough to bring golf closer into everyday culture.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

You don’t need to know how to hit a draw to buy in, the appeal is in the vibe and there's no handicap requirement.

Rao’s announces summer residency at Marine & Lawn’s St Andrews hotel

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts (@marineandlawn)

Putting Rao’s at Rusacks St Andrews is unexpected, but it says a lot about where golf is headed. On Tuesday, the 15-time major champion released a public statement announcing his decision to step away from professional competition and the public eye "for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health." The announcement comes just days after Woods was involved in a rollover car crash and subsequently arrested in Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence."I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," Woods shared in a statement posted to his Instagram Story. "This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery. I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally."The golf legend was arrested last Friday by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office after his Land Rover collided with a truck and rolled onto its side. According to arrest affidavits, Woods claimed he was distracted by his cell phone and the radio. While he and the other driver were uninjured, responding authorities noted Woods appeared "lethargic" at the scene. He later passed a breathalyzer but was charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful urinalysis test. Authorities also reportedly found the prescription painkiller hydrocodone in his possession. Woods officially entered a not-guilty plea on Tuesday.Following the announcement, Woods will no longer compete in next week's Masters tournament. The 50-year-old had only recently made his return to competitive play at the TGL Finals in late March following a back surgery in October. The PGA Tour and its CEO, Brian Rolapp, have since released statements emphasizing that Woods's health and well-being remain their primary focus as he steps away to begin his recovery.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Bringing a fresh perspective to the fairway, the sportswear giant has officially unveiled the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low Golf in an early April-inspired colorway. By utilizing sharp contrasts and unexpected pops of color underneath the shoe, the release is an easy choice for players looking for a minimalist aesthetic with just enough hidden character. For the most part, the upper of the course-ready silhouette remains incredibly clean and straightforward. Constructed from premium, smooth white leather, the tonal base is further simplified by matching white overlays, laces, tongues, and signature side Swooshes. To give the minimalist upper a bit more depth, rich "Fir" green is tastefully applied to the inner lining, the tongue tag branding, and the iconic Wings logo stamped on the heel. However, underfoot is where the pair truly shifts its tone and shows off its personality. Grounding the crisp white upper, a translucent "Fir" green outsole provides a striking visual foundation. Breaking up the otherwise traditional layout, the shoe features removable traction spikes in a soft but vibrant "Elemental Pink," a bold hue that is mirrored on the interior insoles. It is a small but highly considered design choice that proves Jordan Brand is still actively refining how it approaches its modern golf sneaker lineup. The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf "White/Fir" is expected to release ahead of the 2026 Masters Tournament via Nike.com and select Jordan Brand golf retailers.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

YouTube Golf, Outside the Usual Names

YouTube golf has grown quickly over the last few years. While the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour remain the benchmark for elite performance, the platform has opened up a more relatable version of the game. But there’s another side to it, one that sits outside the usual formats. Not everything is built around matches, instruction or competition. Some channels are more interested in style, storytelling and the moments that can't necessarily be tallied on a scorecard. Golf on YouTube isn’t just one thing anymore, and these are the corners where it starts to look a bit different.Taco GolfTaco Golf feels less like a competition and more like a chaotic afternoon with friends. Known for his swing imitations, the focus is on the energy, the jokes and the moments that get recounted over a beer at the 19th hole.MANORS GolfWhile MANORS Golf is known for its apparel, its video output leans heavily into storytelling. The visuals feel closer to campaign shoots than traditional golf content, with a focus on texture, casting and how the clothes move in the real world. It’s golf framed as a lifestyle rather than pure sport. No Laying UpNo Laying Up’s standout series Tourist Sauce sits somewhere between competition and travel storytelling. So golf becomes the reason to explore rather than the end goal. Elements such as wind, terrain and quiet moments carry as much weight as the shots themselves.Mac Boucher GolfMac Boucher plays golf like it’s an experiment. Think 40-yard hooks, exaggerated ball flights and angles that feel closer to a skate video than a traditional golf broadcast. The course becomes a space for creativity rather than structure.Golf Girl GamesGolf Girl Games leans into format-driven chaos offering tee flip scrambles, power-ups and unconventional team games. The tone is fast, personality-led and less concerned with tradition.

Golf on YouTube isn’t just one thing anymore, and these are the corners where it starts to look a bit different.

Taco Golf

Taco Golf feels less like a competition and more like a chaotic afternoon with friends. Known for his swing imitations, the focus is on the energy, the jokes and the moments that get recounted over a beer at the 19th hole.

MANORS Golf

While MANORS Golf is known for its apparel, its video output leans heavily into storytelling. The visuals feel closer to campaign shoots than traditional golf content, with a focus on texture, casting and how the clothes move in the real world. It’s golf framed as a lifestyle rather than pure sport.

No Laying Up

No Laying Up’s standout series Tourist Sauce sits somewhere between competition and travel storytelling. So golf becomes the reason to explore rather than the end goal. Elements such as wind, terrain and quiet moments carry as much weight as the shots themselves.

Mac Boucher Golf

Mac Boucher plays golf like it’s an experiment. Think 40-yard hooks, exaggerated ball flights and angles that feel closer to a skate video than a traditional golf broadcast. The course becomes a space for creativity rather than structure.

Golf Girl Games

Golf Girl Games leans into format-driven chaos offering tee flip scrambles, power-ups and unconventional team games. The tone is fast, personality-led and less concerned with tradition.
Inside the Hidden Economy of a Pro-Am at Bay Hill

At 7:10AM, the driving range at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge is already divided. A sign near the entrance directs players to two different sides: amateurs right and pros left. It's a small detail, but it establishes the hierarchy of the day before a single ball is hit.Amateurs head toward the right side of the range, shaking off the rust from a long winter. Across to the left, PGA TOUR players move through their warmups under the watchful eye of coaches equipped with launch monitor data.At one point, someone from the pro side (it's not clear whether it’s a player or a caddie) calls across jokingly: "Hey, don't you belong over there?" The line gets a few laughs. But it also captures the dynamic of a pro-am perfectly. For one morning, two different versions of golf occupy the same space. What Amateurs Are Actually BuyingFrom the outside, a pro-am looks straightforward: corporate guests paying for the chance to play alongside a professional golfer during tournament week. But the experience reveals something deeper. What participants are really buying isn’t just a round of golf, it's proximity. A few hours inside the rhythms of professional golf that normally exist behind ropes and credential checkpoints. The day begins early. Our group's tee time is 7:10AM, early enough that the course is still covered in mist when we reach the first tee. The landing areas are barely visible down the fairway, but there's no delay. The instruction is simple: get out there and start playing. In our case, the early start was a choice. Pro-am groups are selected through a lottery system. When your number comes up, you choose a player. The early tee time was the price of securing a spot with Viktor Hovland, one of the game's biggest personalities, as well as one of Mastercard's ambassadors. That choice had consequences. Specifically, it cost us sleep. And it cost Hovland some as well. When he's the last one to arrive at the tee, right at 7:10, he jokes about the scheduling. He’s drawn similarly early tee times in recent pro-ams, he says, and might need to "talk to someone about that." Asked when he woke up that morning, he pauses for a moment and says "5:50." It turns out the amateurs had beaten him to the punch. The Tour Player's Second JobFor professionals, pro-am day involves both preparation and hospitality. As Sam Burns explains: "On Wednesday, pro-am day, it’s similar to a normal practice round, but you’re also entertaining the guests you're playing with. You get to talk with them and learn about them."In other words, players become part competitor, part host. The rhythm of the round reflects that balance. "Usually 30 seconds to a minute you’re focused on your shot," Burns says, "and then you’re back chatting with them."Watching it unfold up close, the shift is noticeable. A conversation about travel or family might continue as the group walks up the fairway. Then, without announcement, the player starts walking toward his ball. The caddie calls out a few yardages and hands over a club. For a brief window, the player is locked in and the social dynamic disappears. After the shot is struck, the conversation resumes.Inside the RopesWalking alongside the group is another figure who quietly helps the day function. On the first tee, a PGA professional introduces himself as part of the pro-am support staff. Officially, he’s there to offer guidance and tips if players want them. In practice, his role is broader. He helps keep the group moving, directs players where to stand and occasionally steps in to assist when someone is searching for a ball in the rough. At times he films swings, offering advice to a struggling player in the group. Between shots, we talk through strategy for upcoming holes like where to aim off the tee, where the safe misses are and how the greens tend to break. He's from the Tampa area, he explains, and much of his work involves organizing golf trips for large groups. Recently he hosted a trip to Cabot Citrus Farms, one of the newest golf destinations in the state. What Pros Talk AboutInside the ropes, another layer of professional golf becomes visible. As the round progresses, Hovland occasionally turns to his swing coach, TJ Yeaton, to discuss the technical side of his game.At the time, it seems like a typical mid-week tune-up session. Later, it becomes clear that something slightly more significant was happening: the pro-am marked Hovland’s first public round working again with Yeaton, a coach he had previously collaborated with earlier in his career. The topic that comes up repeatedly is a miss with the driver, a high shot leaking to the right that costs both distance and control. Diagnosing that kind of issue now involves tools that go far beyond a 2D video. Yeaton describes using 3D biomechanics analysis, force plates and comparisons with earlier versions of Hovland’s swing when his clubhead speed was higher.Later in the round, they drift into tour gossip, the kind of casual speculation that circulates between players during practice rounds. We laugh at something that’s said. Hovland glances over. "We're going to have to make you sign an NDA after this." For a few hours on Wednesday morning, that's essentially what a pro-am offers: a temporary pass inside the ropes, where the conversations are a little looser and the distance between professional golf and the people who watch it becomes smaller. The Business of AccessWhile players and coaches focus on performance, another set of relationships is developing around them: the pro-am exists partly as a business environment.According Anne Valentzas, SVP of consumer marketing and sponsorships at Mastercard, events like the Arnold Palmer Invitational serve multiple purposes for sponsors. "We have a lot of C-suite partners here who love to golf, and we're able to give them access to the pros in a way they normally can’t get."Similar access is sometimes extended to cardholders through the brand's Priceless program, which offers fans the opportunity to walk inside the ropes with professionals during tournament week. And that access can create moments that are difficult to replicate anywhere else. One executive, she recalls, stepped onto a tee thinking of himself as a strong golfer. Then he watched the professional in his group hit a drive. "He said the ball went so far he couldn’t even see it."The Course as EqualizerThroughout the round, Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill continuously reinforces the difference between amateur and professional levels. Tee shots that are struck solidly find thick rough. Putts that appear straightforward roll out an extra few feet. Those margins add up over the course of 18 holes. The mist eventually lifts, revealing fairways and greens that looked distant earlier in the morning. By the back nine, the tournament infrastructure feels more visible and the fans are lining the ropes, only adding to the pressure. The Currency of the DayBy the time the final groups finish, the pro-am has produced far more than a round of golf. It has generated business conversations, technical discussions about golf swings, casual stories between players and guests and a handful of memories that participants will likely carry long after the tournament ends. From the outside, the entry fee is the visible cost. Inside the ropes, the real currency is something else entirely. It's time, access and the rare chance to spend a few hours inside the world of professional golf.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Why Tiger Woods Now Prefers Classic Golf Shoes

Remember that image of Tiger Woods at the 2013 Masters? Head-to-toe Nike. The geometric, color-blocked polos with matching belts. And those wide-toe synthetic shoes, the TW '13s, even saw a retro release a few years ago. It was the peak of golf's sneaker era, and Tiger was its greatest spokesperson. But priorities change. Injuries and their comebacks tend to mark the chapters of Tiger's career. And by 2022, returning from the car crash that nearly ended his life, his footwear had changed with him."I have very limited mobility now with the rods and plates and screws that are in my leg," Tiger said that spring. "I needed something different, something that allowed me to be more stable."That "something" was the FootJoy Premiere Series: a conventional-looking shoe built around lateral stability, traction and conventional heel drop. This was less of a style choice and more of a physician's recommendation. Those preferences have carried into his post-Nike era with Sun Day Red, where the Pioneer line reflects the same idea: classic visuals with stability-first engineering. When the team showed him early concepts, one design stood out immediately. "We knew he wanted something in a more classic vein," Sun Day Red footwear designer Tyler Pinkos told us last month. "We showed him about 15 designs, and he pointed to one and said, 'That's me. I'm that guy. I’m a classical guy.' What he liked most was the foundation—a more stable, more rigid bottom."That philosophy shows up in details most players will never notice. The Pioneer shoes use a subtle heel profile borrowed from dress footwear, but with far less heel drop than traditional golf shoes (6 mm to be exact), so you get the grounded stance Tiger wants without raising the foot or interrupting balance."The athletic brands don’t really do that," Pinkos said. "So we took inspiration from dress shoes and did a lot of research around stability—the foam compounds, the heights, the durometers. We left no stone unturned on the tooling. Once that was right, the upper was almost the easy part."The newest model, the Pioneer Willow, keeps that same chassis while refining the silhouette with cleaner lines, open lacing and a slightly more streamlined profile. It's different aesthetics, but the same underlying idea.Which is really the point. As Tiger's career has shifted, so has his definition of performance. The sneaker-inspired look of the 2010s gave way to something more grounded, shaped by feel, stability and his focus on longevity. Classic, in this case, isn't about form. It's about building a shoe that meets Tiger where he is now.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

This was less of a style choice and more of a physician's recommendation.

Those preferences have carried into his post-Nike era with Sun Day Red, where the Pioneer line reflects the same idea: classic visuals with stability-first engineering.

When the team showed him early concepts, one design stood out immediately. "We knew he wanted something in a more classic vein," Sun Day Red footwear designer Tyler Pinkos told us last month. "We showed him about 15 designs, and he pointed to one and said, 'That's me. I'm that guy. I’m a classical guy.' What he liked most was the foundation—a more stable, more rigid bottom."

That philosophy shows up in details most players will never notice. The Pioneer shoes use a subtle heel profile borrowed from dress footwear, but with far less heel drop than traditional golf shoes (6 mm to be exact), so you get the grounded stance Tiger wants without raising the foot or interrupting balance.

"The athletic brands don’t really do that," Pinkos said. "So we took inspiration from dress shoes and did a lot of research around stability—the foam compounds, the heights, the durometers. We left no stone unturned on the tooling. Once that was right, the upper was almost the easy part."

The newest model, the Pioneer Willow, keeps that same chassis while refining the silhouette with cleaner lines, open lacing and a slightly more streamlined profile. It's different aesthetics, but the same underlying idea.

Which is really the point.

Take Zero Restriction. The brand has been around in golf for a long time, its rain gear is highly functional and well respected from competitive circles to country-club pro shops. That ecosystem has kept the brand leading in waterproof outerwear, and it's supplied teams at the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup. But creatively, the brand has historically stayed in its lane. That’s changing with the Power Torque Series for spring. Looking at the images, it feels like ZR is starting to match its credibility and performance with a more modern point of view. The drop includes packable waterproof outerwear like a full-zip shell and a quarter-zip overshirt. While there’s nothing dramatically new from a construction standpoint, a few subtle differences from the mainline pieces signal a shift. The colorways are more progressive. Instead of the usual navies, blacks and earth tones, the pieces lean into contrast panels with saturated blues and lime—closer to alpine outdoor logic than traditional golf rainwear. The hoods and openings are clean and minimal. No big corporate chest logos or nostalgic nylon windbreaker cues. Even the photography (clean backgrounds, considered poses) leans toward contemporary techwear rather than a standard golf wholesale catalog. This isn’t a brand overhaul. But it is an aesthetic shift, even if it's small. For a brand defined by tournament waterproofing, these pieces could sit alongside Arc'teryx or On without looking out of place. And the bigger takeaway is subtle but important: legacy performance brands are starting to match their technical proficiency with contemporary visual language. The collection is priced from $290 to $460 USD, and it’s available over on Zero Restriction’s website now.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

The Styles Tiger Woods Wore Before He Became a Brand

This may come as a surprise to some, but there's a lot of material to pull from the career of Tiger Woods. There are long periods of dominance, personal issues played out in public, injuries, comebacks and a redemption arc that rivals a Christopher Nolan script. But it’s hard to scroll Instagram for long before you run into a late-90s Tiger moodboard. Before turning pro and signing with Nike, Tiger dressed like a kid who wore his heart on his sleeve and pulled items out of a dark closet at 7AM before school. And somehow, it worked. The straw hats, boxy polos, bandana prints and wild color blocking. They've all become reference points for what golf looked like before it was fully commercialized. So it's no surprise Sun Day Red keeps returning to this era for inspiration.Tiger does, too. But to him, those polos, which once sat in a room at his late mother’s house, aren’t moodboard material. They're tangible memories, the way a song can take you back to a specific time and place. The '96 Throwback capsule, which Sun Day Red launched around for next week’s Genesis Invitational, is anchored by one of his more iconic '90s tops."[Tiger's] very fond of his amateur days," Sun Day Red senior creative director Cajé Moye told us ahead of the launch. "He just turned 50, so he's very nostalgic just like everybody else. And he's got a weird mind where he sort of remembers everything about his career. He can look at a shirt and say, 'Oh man, I wore that in 1991 in the first round and shot 82.'"Like recounting the final round of a major down to the club he hit on 18, Tiger remembers the clothes on his body as a feeling, not just an image."He looks at some of these pieces and says, 'Man, I used to wear that plaid at the Open Championship, and I remember one time it rained and this and that,'" Moye says. "So he sits there and starts storytelling about these pieces."That doesn't mean Tiger was indifferent to style. He was a Southern California kid who loved sports, and with a little help from his mother, Kultida, he mixed colors, references and silhouettes with the same freedom as a hook around a tree."He was just wearing whatever. And he would just pull something because he liked the colors. A bucket hat? Sure, why not. And he might have a Georgetown Hoya basketball cap because he was really big into sports. So he would just be wearing athletic caps…wide-leg pleated pants. Now those are really cool again."What's most interesting is how those references translate today. In a world where competitive style often leans safe and performance-driven, the '90s Tiger aesthetic feels like a breath of fresh air. The patterns and silhouettes once dismissed as corny are now being recycled by a younger generation, including Tiger’s own son Charlie."The funny thing about it is Charlie's now a high school kid and he's becoming quite a good golfer. And he's transitioned from, 'Dad, you're not cool,' into 'Yeah, Dad's pretty cool,'" Moye says. "Tiger might look at a print and say, 'Well, I don't know, that seems kind of busy,' and Charlie's like, 'You're crazy, that's sick.' He steals stuff out of his closet, essentially."Sun Day Red's nostalgic capsules still tug at heartstrings, even without an actively competing Tiger wearing them on Sundays. But the real power of this era isn't just in visuals, it's in what they represent. You can market an aesthetic, but you can’t manufacture a feeling. In a world where what we see on TV is increasingly orchestrated and cultural moments are staged for quick online consumption, Tiger's early legacy is a reminder that even the most iconic sports images started with a kid getting dressed.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

When a Tour Pro Finally Gets Dressed Without a Script

What would pro golfers dress like if they weren’t locked into brand deals? If their scripting wasn’t orchestrated in a Q1 meeting with key stakeholders? We’ve seen this play out on the equipment side before (mix and match setups of Adam Scott and Brooks Koepka come to mind). But sponsorship obligations run a tight ship when it comes to the silhouettes and styling that shape professional golf. What if all of that went away? World No. 4 Tommy Fleetwood is showing us what that looks like in real time.Baked into the conversation around why style on Tour skews safe and rigid is the assumption that the players themselves are inherently conservative. But that overlooks the system running in the background. One that emphasizes head-to-toe deals, seasonal product mandates and brand image alignment over personal expression.Up until 2026, the 35-year-old Englishman had been with Nike for his entire professional career, and the Swoosh became synonymous with his plucky, working-class appeal. His wardrobe consisted of the brand’s patterned Dri-FIT polos, tailored pants and Victory Pro 4 golf shoes. A sharp look, if slightly anonymous alongside fellow Swoosh roster members like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler. But when Fleetwood debuted at the 2026 Dubai Invitational, the first sign he had turned over a new leaf? The trousers. The roomier silhouette quickly had style-minded observers wondering, “Are those Nike?” They weren’t. “Wait, is Tommy not with Nike anymore?”Further investigation confirmed the split. Standing alongside Ryder Cup teammate McIlroy, Fleetwood now looked less like an athlete mannequin and more like a guy who woke up and actually dressed himself. Freed from the constraints of a single brand, he became someone who pays attention to silhouette, mixes labels and layers with practicality. In other words, his style began to reflect his personality. That may sound like a low bar, but in professional golf, it’s real progress. He took it a step further with an offseason appearance at TGL, the made-for-TV indoor league on ESPN. Competing for Los Angeles Golf Club, Fleetwood stepped out in Students, a streetwear-influenced brand with roots in West Coast skate culture. This may sound like a story of a personal style evolution. But beyond the glow up, there’s a glimpse at what happens when the structure around a Tour player loosens. Even if it's early days, his wardrobe shift suggests that Tour style may be shaped less by a lack of taste and more by the commercial framework surrounding it. And that raises a bigger question: how many other players might actually have a point of view if they were given a chance to show it?

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Today, it operates five storefronts across Bangkok, including a flagship in Siam Square. Now, CARNIVAL is turning its attention to golf in a country with a deep and often under-acknowledged golf culture.
Tony Finau Just Made the Switch From Swoosh to Jumpman

SummaryTony Finau’s signing with Jordan Brand formalizes a long-standing relationshipFinau will debut head-to-toe Jordan Golf apparel at the 2026 Sony OpenThe move reflects Jordan Brand’s broader push to establish a more performance-driven presence in golfTony Finau has signed with Jordan Brand. The move may come as a surprise to some. Not because it feels out of left field, but because Finau has spent years operating as something of an unofficial Jordan ambassador.Though formally aligned with Nike, his connection to Jordan Brand has long been apparent. He's always gravitated toward Jordan silhouettes, most notably the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf, which he wore in a modified, player-exclusive version. He also became a familiar presence at Grove XXIII, often playing alongside Michael Jordan. Taken together, the signing feels less like a shift and more like a recognition of what was already there.Finau will make his 2026 debut today at the Sony Open wearing head-to-toe Jordan Golf apparel, a rarity in the professional game. “Joining the Jordan Brand marks a new chapter in my career,” Finau said in an essay. “Obviously Michael represents excellence at the highest level. Jordan Brand is incredible to be a part of, and Michael is an incredible individual to represent.”What’s more interesting, though, is what this signals for Jordan Brand’s ambitions in golf.Last year, the brand underwent a soft relaunch, introducing a refreshed apparel line and the introduction of the Jordan Air Rev Golf. Rather than leaning heavily on nostalgia, the focus shifted toward performance and modern relevance, while still staying rooted in Michael Jordan’s competitive ethos. So while Tony Finau joining the roster is a meaningful addition, it may ultimately be remembered as a precursor. Expect more from Jordan Brand this year as it works to solidify its place within the game.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Its Fashion, Bro: Brooks Koepka's Top Style Moments

Brooks Koepka has always been that guy. We all knew a version of him in high school—the jock who was good at every sport, seemingly without trying. And yet, there’s always been a suspicion that there’s more beneath the surface. For years, Koepka existed as something of an enigma on tour. His run of major dominance from 2017 to 2019 (four wins in twelve championships) was baffling not just because of how often he won, but because of how he carried himself while doing it. He played as if the trophy was a nice-to-have rather than the whole point. There was no visible tension, no sense that he was living and dying with every holed putt. That kind of detachment was jarring in a post-Tiger era that trained us to expect visible obsession and emotional volatility. To see someone win at that level while appearing not to care read, to some, as arrogance. But in hindsight, it was just laser focus. Koepka never let opponents (or the fans) know how he was feeling. There’s another side to Koepka that quietly reshapes how he’s perceived: the way he dresses.Signed with Nike since 2016, he’s one of the few players who still carries Swoosh-branded clubs in the bag. More notably, Koepka has consistently given Nike the freedom to experiment around him, acting as a testing ground for more conceptually driven ideas. In 2019, he stepped onto the course in a custom pair of OFF-WHITE™ x Nike Air Max 90s. A few years later, he returned to the TOUR Championship wearing pieces from the then-unreleased NOCTA Golf collection. These moments hinted at something deeper: an athlete who understands image and brand. Not just a dominant golfer, but someone operating within culture. And with his return to the PGA TOUR freshly announced, here are a few moments that show Brooks Koepka has always been more than just your average golfer.2019 TOUR ChampionshipThe 2019 TOUR Championship gave us one of the most enduring one-liners in modern golf style lore: “It’s fashion, bro.” That was Koepka’s response when asked why he’d tee it up in OFF-WHITE™ x Nike Air Max 90s.“I don’t know how to explain it. It’s Off-White. It’s fashion,” he said. “I guarantee the whole golf world has no clue what Off-White is, but it’s fresh. If you’re a sneakerhead, you’ll get it—or into fashion. Sneakerheads know.”Kobe Bryant TributeDuring his rehabilitation in 2020, Koepka found inspiration in Kobe Bryant. Ahead of his return at the Genesis Invitational, he had a custom pair of shoes made as a tribute to the late Lakers legend. The shoes never made it to Bryant. Instead, Koepka wore them in competition and later donated the pair to raise money for the crash victims’ families.2021 TOUR ChampionshipKoepka resurfaced on fashion blogs in 2021 after debuting pieces from NOCTA’s then-unreleased golf collection in competition. Wearing the NOCTA polo in two colorways, he proved that Tiger Woods isn’t the only golfer who can pull off a mock neck. It was another reminder that personality, when deployed selectively, still has power in golf.Going BlondePlenty of people toy with the idea of going bleach blonde. Very few follow through. But Koepka did, showing up to the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open with newly dyed hair.“My barber has been wanting to do it for a while, so I told him I’d do it,” Koepka said. “Wasn’t much behind it—we were just messing around.”The hair was gone before his summer wedding to Jena Sims, but the moment stuck.Photoshoot with Travis ScottKoepka made a surprise appearance alongside Travis Scott in late 2023 as Jordan Brand introduced the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf to the course. Shot at Grove XXIII, the campaign paired two figures who operate in very different arenas, but share an understanding of image and cultural timing.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

The 3D-Printed Iron Is No Longer a Concept Car

In golf, 3D printing has long felt more like vanity R&D than true consumer-facing technology. Sure, Bryson DeChambeau became a notable evangelist when he put a 3D-printed iron set in play in 2024. But that was hardly a convincing use case for the average golfer—especially given DeChambeau’s famously close relationship with experimental tech over the years. This is, after all, the same player who turned Epsom salt baths and single-length irons into recurring talking points. So despite the on-course success, there weren’t exactly droves of golfers clamoring for 3D-printed gear. The biggest barrier was price. Until recently, no major OEM offered a 3D-printed iron set that was readily available at retail. Anything resembling it required full customization (translation: prohibitively expensive). That began to shift in June 2024, when COBRA unveiled its LIMIT3D irons. The prototype set was priced at $3,000 USD and capped at just 500 units worldwide, reinforcing the idea that 3D printing in golf was still more concept car than daily driver.Later iterations, however, told a different story. COBRA refined its production process, dropped the “LIMIT3D” designation, and released the 3D PRINTED TOUR irons at a more attainable (though still premium) price point of around $2,500 USD. The irons quickly found validation on Tour, with staff player Max Homa putting them in play. Now, COBRA is expanding its 3D-printed lineup further with the introduction of two new models: the 3D PRINTED MB and 3D PRINTED X irons. While the TOUR model was designed squarely for elite players and low handicaps, the MB and X aim at a broader audience, targeting golfers in the 10-to-20 handicap range. The key shift here is accessibility. While still far from inexpensive, the new 3DP MB and X irons come in roughly $1,000 USD less than COBRA’s initial consumer-facing 3D-printed offering. Just as importantly, they’re no longer positioned as limited-run curiosities. COBRA has intentionally dropped that framing to signal that 3D printing shouldn’t be viewed as golf’s version of a moonshot prototype.“Cobra Golf has always been driven by innovation,” said Dan Ladd, President of Cobra Puma Golf. “The fact that we are the first OEM to offer a full range of 3D-printed irons that exceed the performance of comparable, traditionally made irons clearly shows our dedication to making the very best performing gear in golf.”Someday, it may be commonplace for serious golfers to have their own 3D printer in the garage. 7-iron coming out a degree flat? No need to bend the lie, just print a new one. Until then, COBRA is staking an early claim as the brand most willing to turn next-generation metalwork into something golfers can actually use.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

The prototype set was priced at $3,000 USD and capped at just 500 units worldwide, reinforcing the idea that 3D printing in golf was still more concept car than daily driver.

Later iterations, however, told a different story.

COBRA has intentionally dropped that framing to signal that 3D printing shouldn’t be viewed as golf’s version of a moonshot prototype.

“Cobra Golf has always been driven by innovation,” said Dan Ladd, President of Cobra Puma Golf. “The fact that we are the first OEM to offer a full range of 3D-printed irons that exceed the performance of comparable, traditionally made irons clearly shows our dedication to making the very best performing gear in golf.”

Someday, it may be commonplace for serious golfers to have their own 3D printer in the garage. 7-iron coming out a degree flat? No need to bend the lie, just print a new one. Until then, COBRA is staking an early claim as the brand most willing to turn next-generation metalwork into something golfers can actually use.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
