NEEDLES and ts(s) Unveil Eclectic SS25 Capsule

NEEDLES has unveiled a collaboration with fellow Japanese label ts(s), which specializes in contemporary adaptations of workwear and traditional sportswear. The concise yet dynamic cabsile features a variety of fabrics in different styles and textures, showcasing an eclectic range of influences from both brands.

NEEDLES’ military-inspired models, including the “LINE CREW JACKET” and classic “HD PANT”, are reimagined in Italian dobby cloth, featuring a three-dimensional texture. Elsewhere, the matching “V NECK COWBOY SHIRT” and “STRING COWBOY PANT” utilize French fabric printed with a repeating honeycomb pattern. Adorning the two pieces are pearlescent buttons, typically found on NEEDLES’ Western styles.

The collection is rounded out with two colorways of the “COLOR BLOCK POCKET T-SHIRT,” embroidered with NEEDLES’ classic papillon embroidery. Overall, the design elements explored in the capsule distill certain Japanese aesthetics, focusing on the culture’s affinity for reworked fabrics and repeating geometric patterns often found on paper and textiles. The smoky patchwork applications and indigo dobby cloth are also currently incorporated in the ts(s) SS25 collection, highlighting the synthesis of details from both partners.

The latest collaboration between NEEDLES and ts(s) is set for release exclusively at the Nepenthes web store and physical retail locations.
