Telfar Denim Is Here, And It Isn't Going Anywhere

The Brooklyn-based brand has debuted a fully-fledged denim lineup that, unlike its bags, is “not meant to sell out in one day.”

After dropping denim bags back in December of last year, Telfar has returned with a fully-fledged line of denim pieces, titled Telfar Denim.

“With many of its central motifs rooted in Telfar’s earliest collections, Telfar Denim reminds us that before the bag, Telfar emerged in the early 2000s as one of the most consistently original and conceptually rooted designers in fashion,” the brand said in a statement. “This offering forms a cornerstone of Telfar’s 2024 vision to re-center apparel but do so on his own terms — eschewing the fashion schedule and showroom system — building a wardrobe block by block.”

The unisex collection opens with a straight-leg jean, which features patent belt-loop stash pockets and three-panel segmentation that outlines its short-short, capri, and thigh-hole iterations. There are also cropped and full-length denim jackets boasting detachable sleeves, based on an earlier version found in Telfar’s Spring 2012 line. Rounding out the range, the baggy jean is a “reinterpretation of a hallmark of Black diasporic style,” with intentional oversized tailoring.

Telfar Denim is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore, with prices ranging from $110 USD to $240 USD. The collection is “not meant to sell out in one day or one week,” the brand noted. “It’s here to stay.” Take a look at lineup in the gallery above.
