New York-based label Bode has made its debut at Paris Fashion Week Men’s for Spring/Summer 2020. The label — headed by CFDA Emerging Designer of the Year and 2019 LVMH prize finalist Emily Bode – delivered an array of reinterpreted tailored looks and a number of more casual pieces that reference the label’s love for quilting, mending, appliqués and traditional artistic designs.

The collection is comprised of flowing silhouettes and deconstructed tailored pieces. The color palette is a mixture of rich golds, reds and browns as well as some muted green, yellow and blue tones.

Various pieces utilize traditional garment making techniques such as crocheting, which can be seen on a beige geometric-designed vest and a pale green, yellow and cream shirt. Standout looks from Bode’s PFW runway include knee-length gold and blue striped satin coat featuring hidden fastening — as well as its matching suit — and the beige belted boiler suit. Other notable mentions include a bejeweled and embroidered gold satin coat, a French knit-stiched shirt jacket and a black and white striped suit.
