There's an Animated Short Based on a Bill Murray Heist of Wu-Tang Clan's 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin'
If only this was real life.
This is incredible. Directly after it became public that real-life super villain Martin Shkreli was the mystery buyer of Wu-Tang Clan‘s two-million dollar album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, news emerged of a supposed quirky “clause” in the contract that allowed Wu-Tang and/or Bill Murray to steal the album back. Well, more headlines followed quickly cementing those headlines as a hoax. Now, there’s a “trailer” for an animated “film” based on that narrative. Rapper ProbCause and Elijah Alvardo connected to create the trailer, piecing together animation with various, past sound-clips. You can check out their vignette above.
