Salman Rushdie Recites Drake Lyrics
Award-winning novelist takes on five tracks from Drake.
In support of his new novel, Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights, famed author Salman Rushdie, known for penning award-winning novels such as The Satanic Verses or Fury, paid a visit at CBC. Besides discussing his latest work, CBC gave him some Canadian literature to read aloud. Instead of showing him novel excerpts, he was presented Drake lyrics. Rushdie did not hesitate to recite select Drizzy lines from five Drake tracks, ‘6 PM in New York”, “Forever”, “Know Yourself”, “What’s My Name”, and “6 God.” Watch it all go down in the clip below.
