Ciara Covers Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black"
Well, this is unexpected.
Who knew Ciara was a Rolling Stones fan? While the “I Bet” songstress hasn’t exactly had a difficult time staying in headlines as of late, this next one from her should turn a lot of heads and earn attention across the board. In support of the forthcoming blockbuster action film The Last Witch Hunter, Ciara has cooked up a cover of the Rolling Stones classic “Paint It Black.” While this cover might surprise most listeners, it apparently surprised its creator even more. Ciara said the following about the song in a Q&A with Rolling Stone:
“I had never thought to cover this song…It was never on my radar to cover it, but when the opportunity came along, I was very thrilled, because I love what the producer Adrianne Gonzales did.”
