'The Foreigner' Starring Jackie Chan Is the Next "Father Seeking Revenge" Film You Must See
Obsessed with finding the bombers who killed his daughter.
Jackie Chan is starring opposite Pierce Brosnan in a dark revenge thriller entitled The Foreigner. In the trailer above, Chan portrays a humble restaurant owner on a mission to track down the Irish radicals to blame for the explosion that killed his daughter. The forces responsible (Brosnan) stand against the father hellbent on seeking revenge, which forces Chan to push his moral and highly-trained physical boundaries to learn the names of the men behind the bombing.
The film re-teams director Martin Campbell with Brosnan, whom directed 1995’s 007 film Goldeneye as well as 2006’s Casino Royale with current Bond Daniel Craig. The Foreigner is set to release on October 13, 2017.
