Massimo Giorgetti Has Left LVMH's Emilio Pucci
He is no longer the brand’s creative director.
Acclaimed Milan designer Massimo Giorgetti is no longer creative director of Emilio Pucci. Giogetti has stepped down from his senior position at the top of the LVMH-led fashion house, choosing instead to build his own MSGM label and brand. The Business of Fashion 500-featured creator and artist has been with Emilio Pucci for two years, having been appointed creative director back in March of 2015.
“This experience with Emilio Pucci, one of the most representative and historic brands in fashion was an inspiring journey, which has also contributed to my professional growth. Today my brand needs more and more of my attention and all my energy. I would like to thank Laudomia Pucci, the LVMH group, Mauro Grimaldi and all of the Emilio Pucci team, for supporting me in the beautiful adventure,” Giorgetti explained in an official statement. Mauro Grimaldi, CEO of Emilio Pucci, was equally amicable. “We have decided in total agreement to end the partnership. I would like to thank, personally and on behalf of the company, Massimo Giorgetti for the great professionalism shown during these two years of collaboration.”
Expect to see and hear more from Giorgetti’s MSGM venture in the near future.
