Take a Look Inside Major's Apartment in This 'Ghost in the Shell' Featurette
It’s not a bed, it’s a relaxation cocoon.
With the release of Ghost in the Shell just around the corner, Paramount Pictures has been steadily releasing teasers and trailers to hype audiences up. Recently the studio released a featurette that explores Major’s apartment to uncover more about the character. Played by Scarlett Johansson, Major is a synthetic “full-body prosthesis” augmented-cybernetic human employed as the field commander of a public security unit. In the video, we are given a tour of the space Major uses to house weaponry, analyze crime scene data and sleep. Although the character doesn’t necessarily need sleep the bed serve as the Major’s “relaxation cocoon.” Look for Ghost in the Shell film to hit theaters near you March 31.
