size? and The Rig Out Explore Subculture Styles in New Series
The first installment looks at UK garage’s love for vintage Moschino and Reebok Vectors.
Footwear mainstay size? has teamed up with The Rig Out to explore UK-based subcultures and the cross pollinating relationship between music and fashion in a number of creative circles. The spillover of Britain’s acid rave euphoria, UK garage was birthed out of London’s vibrant club scene in the ’90s. Soundtracking the youth of city, the scene offered an excuse for the working class to dress-up, indulge in in the genre’s alluring 4/4 percussive rhythm, and hold half empty bottles of champagne all evening. In the first installment we meet couple Jack and Yasmin, young garage enthusiasts who still wear and collect retro staple pieces; from vintage Moschnino, Versace and Ice Bergs to Vector tees and Rebook Classics and Vectors. Check out a lookbook above modeled by the duo, and a short film styled by Dukes Cupboard.
