New Pokémon Movie 'I Choose You!' See Ash and Pikachu Reunited on the Big Screen
Also marking the anime’s 20th anniversary.
A new Pokémon film is set to hit theaters across Japan on July 15, 2017. Marking the 20th anniversary since the beloved anime first debuted back in 1997, the new film titled Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! will see Ash and Pikachu teaming up once more. With the latest film, the franchise decided to go back to where the journey started. In the trailer you can see Ash wearing his outfit from the first season of the show and the teaser poster shows Ash and Pikachu looking over Ho-Oh as it flies above their heads. This is a classic scene since it was Ho-Oh that Ash saw back in the day when he started on his journey to becoming a Pokémon Master.
