G-Star RAW Debuts a 20-Piece Offering of Experimental Denim Garments Overseen by Aitor Throup

Back in June of this year, G-Star RAW first revealed that it was working with Aitor Throup to develop an experimental capsule range of denim offerings under the RAW Research banner. Now, with the colder months underway, the Amsterdam label has unveiled the 20-piece collection consisting of outerwear and trousers exploring two polar opposites in the life of a denim garment – one using rigid, untreated denim while the other features bleached-white denim. Highlights of the range include the Rackam 3D Tapered jeans and matching bomber, the latter of which boasts an innovative strapping system enabling the jacket to be taken off without being detached. Elsewhere we find a thrown-on Strett Parka with an integrated, removable backpack, and a hybrid of the traditional jeans and chinos in the Staq jeans.
