Facebook Is Testing out a Snapchat-Esque Camera Feature With Special Photo Effects

Hot on the heels of Facebook’s virtual Halloween-themed features this past Thursday is a new in-app camera feature with special photo effects. The Snapchat-esque attribute will allow users to utilize a variety of masks, geo-filters as well as Prisma-like reactive overlays that respond to bodily movements. Following its previous effects release, the feature will only be displayed for approximately 24 hours. The new camera feature is currently being tested in Ireland with an international launch to follow soon.
