Universal offers up another official look at Michael Fassbender’s take on the titular Apple icon in Steve Jobs. Directed by Danny Boyle and written by acclaimed screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, the film is adapted from Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of Jobs and shines a spotlight on the Apple founder through the lens of a trio of product launches: the Macintosh, the ill-fated NeXT, and the iMac. Starring a cast that includes the likes of Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Joanna Hoffman and John Sculley, respectively, Steve Jobs will see a limited debut October 9 before its widespread October 16 release.
