Some argue how handmade some of the world’s luxury cars really are. Rolls-Royce, now owned by BMW, stand firm by their handmade motto, with very little robotics involved in the production; the paintwork is still automated but only for consistency. The video above gives a fairly detailed tour of how their “craftsmen and women” assemble seemingly mundane parts like the radiator and “The Spirit of Ecstasy” hood ornament, to the epic V12 engine and interior cabin that contains real wood, numerous cowhides and finely polished elements all over.
