A while back, Google announced a completely customizable smartphone dubbed “Project Ara” and now a design company called BLOCKS have adopted the concept and brought it to the smartwatch market. The modular smartwatch is designed to offer each person a unique, individualized experience where the user can swap out band links for others that carry the feature they desire. The swappable modules can be anything, from an additional battery, to a GPS module and so much more. You can check out the prototype on Kickstarter right now.
