Concepts x Brooks Beast 1 "Voodoo"
In honor of the late and great Jimi Hendrix.
Boston premium sneaker spot Concepts gives us another great collaboration, this time with running shoe company Brooks. The duo are thus reintroducing the Brooks Beast 1 model for this special project, with elevated materials in this runner’s staple. Colorway-wise, the “Voodoo” uses a salmon-esque rear quarter with a pastel blue toe box and beige mid section. Additionally, Concepts wanted to channel in the late Jimi Hendrix into this collaboration who shares with Brooks a hometown of Seattle, Washington, thus blasting the inner soles and signature custom-made box with a psychedelic tie-dye pattern.
