Sony Releases a New Trailer for Neill Blomkamp's 'Chappie'

Sony has premiered the official trailer for Neill Blomkamp‘s Chappie. The story’s plot is revealed in the action-packed, two and a half-minute trailer following the movie’s initial announcement. Chappie is the first robot created who can think and feel like a human. While some view this scientific breakthrough as a successful accomplishment, his mere existence threatens those who question the viability of the human race if more of his kind were to be produced. They will stop at nothing to eradicate Chappie and halt further experimentation. The movie features the all-star cast of Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er, with Sharlto Copley as Chappie. Chappie hits movie theaters this May.
