The title track of Burial‘s impressive River Dealer project has inspired a short film by UK director Ben Dawkins. It is a gritty tale of underworld dynamic that follows a dealer during a rough night in London. Burial and his label Hyperdub gave their blessings to the project:
“Director Ben Dawkins got in touch asking us if he could use ‘Rival Dealer’ by Burial to make a short film that has been inspired by the track. We said he could, and his interpretation is exciting and beautifully made.”
