"Words by Rakim" by Matt Bieler

Paying tribute to the God MC, filmmaker Matt Bieler presents “Words by Rakim.” Described as a “reintroduction and aural celebration of hip-hop’s most influential MC,” the short film is broken up into two parts – Side A and Side B. As both sides deliver a remix to one of his acclaimed verses, footage of Rakim performing on various stages around the world is further supplemented by a candid interview.
