Watch the Mountains Reflect Off Peter Pichler's Northern Italian Houses

Resting just outside of Bolzano in the foothills of the Dolomites Mountains in Northern Italy is one of the notable creations from architect Peter Pichler. Two homes, designed as vacation residences, each feature two bedrooms nested inside a minimalist white interior – characterized by skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows, and of course personal gardens. The most striking feature of the structure though, is the glass facade – clad in glossy black aluminum to reflect the surrounding foliage. The curvilinear elevation accentuates said effect, providing extensive views of the environment while, from the outside, blending in said setting.
