In the lead up to the release of their new album Too True, Dum Dum Girls have graced us with a full album stream via NPR. To further entice, front-woman Dee Dee Penny has shared a little info on the inspirations as she notes Nick Cave’s 1996 letter to MTV where he asked to be withdrawn from any award nominations.
“Apart from his refusal to be competitively evaluated, it was his gentle worship and protection of his own creative process, his crowned Inspiration, which resonated with me.”
