Somewhere between living it up in Miami, discovering the local cuisine of Taiwan, and taking casual power lunches with top networks to discuss a potential TV show, Eddie Huang captured the heart of the internet. The inaugural run of the New York native’s web series – Fresh Off the Boat with Eddie Huang – made us cringe, salivate and laugh at the same time, examining social issues through the lens of a universal love: food. In light of all this, kudos to Vice for bringing the show back for a second season. The new season will find Eddie everywhere from the cut of Detroit to mingling among migrant workers in Moscow. Look for the second season to launch on September 20 on Vice’s website.
