Red Bull Flatland BMX "Into the East"

On the BMX section of Red Bull‘s website, it lists various subcategories – “disciplines” – of the burgeoning action sport. It’s true, BMX includes more than just barspins out of large park quarterpipes or stunts down sizable street sets, but also flatland freestyle as well. With the help of champion flatland riders Matthias Dandois and Viki Gomez, the energy drink behemoth now releases a new video highlighting the artistic elements of the discipline. Gomez and Dandois created ink prints of Chinese calligraphy while moving on their bikes, set under the riders giving testimonial on their approach to riding. Enjoy the video above.
