Ryan Seacrest confirmed that Nicki Minaj has been named judge of American Idol and will join the illustrious likes of Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson. The Pink Barbie is reportedly cashing in $8 million for her participation. The 12th season begins January 2013 on FOX.
