The Viper may not have the same legacy as its Bowtiecompetitor, the Chevrolet Corvette, but the recent return of the supercar under the SRT namesake has continued on with a uniquely American bit of engineering. Championing large displacement and power, the 2013 SRT Viper has been officially priced alongside a further look. A few thousand dollars short of six figures (destination fee inclusive), the base Viper will be priced at $97,395 USD but quickly rises to $120,395 USD for the top of the line GTS model. Aside from the GTS’s race-ready additions such as two-mode active suspension, both models share the same all-aluminum, mid-front 8.4 liter V10 delivering 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft of torque. With production slated to begin in November 2012, orders will start in mid-November.
