The hunt for Osama Bin Laden began in September of 2001, and didn’t conclude until his death nearly 10 years later in May of 2011. Zero Dark Thirty from Annapurna Pictures is the intrigue-filled account in the closing moments of that massive decade-long manhunt spanning much of the globe. Director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal have been extremely tight-lipped with regards to the project’s specific plot and how they managed to obtain highly classified details of the manhunt — including those of the Navy SEAL raid that punctuated Bin Laden’s death. Named after an unspecified hour of the historic raid, Zero Dark Thirty stars Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton, Scott Adkins and Mark Strong.
