NOWNESS: Lil Buck Displays His Gravity-Defying Dance Moves

In director Jacob Sutton’s latest film for NOWNESS, famed American dancer Lil Buck performs a series of maneuvers that makes the viewer question the rules of gravity. Having performed avant-garde arrangements in the past with the likes of Spike Jonze and Yo-Yo Ma, the latest visuals set to “Licorice” by Azealia Banks provide “an environment that doesn’t really conform to normal gravity.” In speaking about the project Sutton commented “when he starts dancing he instantly has that magic. It’s a new way of moving.”
