When we first got word of a release date for the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer, Pusha T shared with Funkmaster Flex that the project would be released on August 7. Then a short time later Kanye West shared the cover art for the album and announced the official release date to be September 4. Now according to G.O.O.D. Music’s own Malik Yusef and Amazon, it looks like the album may be released on September 18, two weeks later than the date announced by Def Jam. Yusef tweeted out in response to a fan:
Yeah it looks like a push back, on #CRUELSUMMER but our wish has 4 additional features has MOSt DEFinitely been granted
