Clement Marfo & The Frontline – Champion

“Champion” by Clement Marfo & The Frontline receives a visual that fully embodies the track title. With continued airplay from the likes of Zane Lowe and Mistajam on BBC Radio 1, the track was inspired by British boxer David Haye’s WBA Heavyweight title bout against Nikolai Valuev. The seven-piece band from London fittingly shoots the majority of the video in a boxing ring with cutaway shots of frontman Clement Marfo training for what seems to be a huge performance at the end of the clip. Expect a lot of airplay from sports channels during the Olympics with this one. “Champion” is available on pre-order on iTunes with a July 23 release date.
