Being offered is the latest visual offering from The Roots. In this clip, the Philadelphia collective perform “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” which is featured on the soundtrack to the film Soundtrack For a Revolution, which highlights the story of the civil rights movement and the struggles fought by young African-American activists. The video juxtaposes black-and-white footage of 20th-century Civil Rights protests with color footage of the band performing in a recording studio. Soundtrack For a Revolution is out February 14, but you can pre-order it here.
