After gradually developing through a succession of teaser previews and a T-shirt collaboration alongside Atlanta-based retailer Wish, the highly anticipated KAWS “Down Time” Exhibition recently kicked off at the High Museum of Art. Opening to a filled gallery, the East Coast exhibition featured an extensive list of works on display across the entirety of the multi-site exhibit. Most notable among the mix was a grid of 27 round paintings, a group of KAWS toys, a special edition collaborative project with British photographer David Sims, as well as a range of site-specific murals.
