Fresh Off The Boat With Eddie Huang: Los Angeles Part 3

Chef, writer and culture critic Eddie Huang delivered a double-header of Fresh Off The Boat episodes on Monday. While in part two of his trip to Los Angeles, Eddie explored authentic Mexican culture in East LA, and in part three he immerses himself within once notorious low-rider car clubs. Throughout the clip, Eddie chats with members of Techniques Los Angeles, whom discuss their upbringing in the once violent culture, but also reflect on how the tradition has since evolved to be a relaxed social setting. As the show is loosely coined a “food show,” Eddie makes sure to enjoy some barbecue with club members while further exploring the show’s underlying theme of highlighting unsung local cultures.
