In honors of this anniversary, Sama’an Ashraw unveils his mini-documentary which focuses on the band’s influence on the hip-hop circuit and beyond. And yes, it features some of the rap game’s most prominent faces.
20 years ago, UGK (Bun B & Pimp C) released their first full-length album, Too Hard To Swallow. Since the release of their debut, UGK has gone on to influence two generations of MCs; this mini-documentary explores the influence of UGK’s music outside of their home state of Texas.
