M83 – Steve McQueen

If you recall several weeks ago, M83 partnered with Genero and announced a video contest for the group’s hit single “Steve McQueen.” Following a crowd of submissions, French directors Sylvain Derosne and Balthaza Auxietre came out on top. The duo created a piece highlighting a young dapper’s fixation towards science and finds himself in the mix of stop-motion animals while creating a “rainmaker.” Unusual pairings, but all works out somehow.
