One of Los Angeles’s most iconic rock bands, Red Hot Chili Peppers, have announced their tenth studio album. Anthony Kiedis and company have confirmed that their new album, entitled I’m With You, will hit shelves on August 29. Rumor has it that the follow-up to 2006’s double album Stadium Arcadium would be named Dr. Johnny Skinz’s Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head – a title Kiedis referred to a notorious acid trip one of his friends one experienced. Entirely produced by Rick Rubin, the LP was recorded without guitarist John Fruiscante who quit the band in 2009. The album will be promoted by a preceding single “The Adventures of Raindance Maggie”, due July 18.
