Moby - The Day (Starring Heather Graham)

After we have seen Moby’s new single “The Day” campaigning against Obama’s GOP budget, the tune has now received an official video treatment. Directed by Evan Bernard, who has created Moby’s videos for “Disco Lies” and “New York, New York,” the clip features actress Heather Graham in the role of a nurse/guardian angel who fights against demons. Bernard explains the basic theme of the visual as following:

“She (the angel) is the defender of righteousness. She represents good, and she’s defeating evil.”

Pretty simple concept, but also quite efficient as you can see above. The song appears on Moby’s 10th album Destroyed, due May 17 via Little Idiot/Mute Records.
