In preparation for their upcoming split 12” entitled Darkbloom, Montreal-based musicians Grimes and D’Eon release two respective visuals. Grimes’ complex musical style sets the focus of her soft vocals over simple lo-fi synths on her latest tune, whereas D’Eon’s songs relies on a good dose of ’90s R&B influence. Both bizarre videos are directed by and star Grimes. Darkbloom is slated for a April 19 release as 12” vinyl, CD ($10) and digital formats via Arbutus Records and Hippos In Tanks.
