Handmade Portraits: Liberty Vintage Motorcycles

In this video, Etsy sits down for a chat with Adam Cramer, owner of Liberty Cycles in Philadelphia, PA. Cramer, who has worked as a mechanic for over 25 years restoring vintage motorcycles back to their prime running condition, laments the attitude of today’s youth and fears for the future of his profession. Despite the recession, he says, America’s largest problem is deindustrialization. In the video posted above, Cramer argues that the “can-do spirit” so prominently found during the country’s former glory days is becoming harder and harder to find and wonders if the next generation even has the eye needed to revive the industry.
