It’s been quite a while since we last heard anything from Miike Snow. Back in 2009, the Stockholm-based indie pop trio released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which has sold over 85,000 copies to date. But after the successful run of that album throughout 2009 and 2010, the buzz surrounding the band went slightly dormant. That doesn’t mean people haven’t been waiting for new music, however. Today, Miike Snow has released the first taste of their yet-to-be-titled sophomore album, which should land on shelves sometime next year. Although the band has stated that the song, titled “Devil’s Work,” is not a single, it is certainly a good indicator that their upcoming LP will be a natural progression of the sound they have become known for. According to a tweet that was sent out last week, the album is done and they are in the process of shooting videos for it, finalizing the artwork and scheduling tour dates. Until that all comes to fruition, listen to the newest track from Miike Snow below and its visual companion above.
