Das Racist – Michael Jackson (Live on Conan)

Das Racist made an appearance on Conan last night to showcase their single “Michael Jackson” in a bizarre but increasingly typical fashion. The Brooklyn trio performed the track tersely, at half speed and recruited the services of a (below average) Michael Jackson impersonator. It quickly became clear that they were not there to please anyone, and their confrontational style is a characteristic which is becoming synonymous with the group’s live performances.
