Street artist EVOL, known for converting everyday street objects into miniature architecture, has made his mark in Gorki Park, Moscow. Under a faux stone archway, EVOL’s intricate multi-layered stencilwork has brought to life a monotonous facade broken by protruding and receding window blocks. Titled “Constructivisms,” this piece references the Russian art and architectural movement of the 1920s which emphasized industrial and machine aesthetics.
